I wanted to love this. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the dermatologica pre cleanse. This Caudalie oil was unfortunately too thick so felt difficult to spread around the face and effectively remove makeup.

I was recommended this by my sister who swears by it. She has oily skin. Since switching to this from my old cleanser the difference in my skin has been amazing.I have combination skin. Before when I cleansed by face it felt tight and dry but not it feels cleaner and more hydrated. My skincare also seems to be applying alot better since switching to this cleanser too. It has a subtle sweet smell to it but I actually like. Amazing product.

I wasn't a fan of this product, it is very heavy and oily, and it doesn't cleanse very well either. Ran out very quickly as well, as you need to use loads of it to remove make up.

The scent is quite nice but the oil is quite thick and doesn’t provide a nice enough slip when applying it on the face. There are better alternatives out there, like the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm or the Farmacy Green Clean cleansing balm. I personally wouldn’t use this Caudalie one again.
